Lentil Bolignase

The goodness of lentils with good quality pasta and loads of garlic, very hearty


  • Garlic
  • Onion
  • Chili (optional)
  • 1 Cup of lentils
  • I tin of Tomatoes
  • Red Wine
  • Thyme
  • Salt Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Pasta


  1. Fry garlic, onion and chili until the onion is clear.
  2. Add dry thyme
  3. Add I cup of red wine and reduce.
  4. Add tinned tomatoes and lentils.
  5. Bring to boil simmer.
  6. Bring water to the boil with salt add pasta.
  7. Add salt and pepper to lentils.
  8. Serve, awesome.


    Add ground almonds with nutritional yeast for a good Parmesan substitute
