Butter Bean Pate

You can use it as a dip at partys, or as a filling snack any time of the day!


  • 1 can butter beans
  • 2 tblsp olive oil
  • 1 tspn dijon mustard
  • 2 tblsp parsley
  • 300 mL vegetable stock


  1. Drain butter beans
  2. Put in sm saucepan with veg stock and bring to boil then simmer for 10-15mins
  3. Drain keeping some stock
  4. Put in a bowl with olive oil and dijon mustard and mash with a fork
  5. Then add parsley
  6. Add more stock if too dry
  7. Serve with bread or crackers


    Add pepper, chilli or any other preffered herb or spice for your own touch.
