Divine White Sauce


  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup Nuttelex
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1/8 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • Pinch pepper


  1. Heat Nuttelex in a pan using a low heat until soft
  2. Combine with flour and onion, stirring constantly
  3. After a few minutes, gradually add soy milk and water, mixing thoroughly to avoid lumps in the sauce
  4. Add pepper to taste
  5. Continue to stir until sauce thickens, then remove from heat
  6. Serve immediately over your favourite steamed vegetables, or other prepared dish.


    Add or reduce the amount of soy milk you use to adjust the thickness of the sauce to suit your dish.
