Cashew 'mayonnaise'

Delicious with everything! Try it as a salad dressing, on veggie burgers and wraps, or creamed with cooked kale and spinach.


  • 1 cup raw cashews
  • 2 tbsp savoury yeast flakes
  • 1 tsp salt (try diet Herbamare seasoning salt)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 level tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup almond milk (depending how thick you want it)


  1. Soak cashews in water for 2 hours, drain.
  2. Add all the ingredients into a blender and blend for 1 minute, scraping down the sides and adding more almond milk or water as needed.
  3. Store in the fridge for up to 6 days
