Cashew Banana Ice Cream

This is an amazing and unique combination and a total flavour sensation! The ingredients are also easy to find.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups frozen sliced bananas
  • 1/2 cup cashew butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup (or agave nectar)

Directions

  1. Whack the bananas in a food processor or blender to chop them up.
  2. Add the cashew butter, salt, and syrup and pulse until smooth.
  3. Store in the freezer.

Variation

    Oreos can be added to the mix to create a cookies and cream flavour. You can also use any other nut butter instead of cashew; macadamia works great too!
