Vegetarians take on Sam Kekovich over his call to eat lamb on Australia Day

THIS could get ugly. Vegetarians are taking on Sam Kekovich after years of the ocker king's Australia Day ads imploring us to celebrate with a lamb barbecue.

This new bald dude called Simon Kennovich was unveiled yesterday claiming it was un-Australian to eat lamb because of the global warming affect of methane gases produced by sheep.

A Kennovich parody of Kekovich's ads was released on YouTube yesterday.

Kennovich is comedian Simon Kennedy and he's flogging a vegetarian Australia Day barbecue at Bondi Beach.
